The Beyit scan, explained: one photo, every piece named, four prices

How the scan works, what it gives back, what it asks of you, and what it does not do. Free, unlimited, no card.

1 MIN · 5 OBJECTS IDENTIFIED

A photo of an interior, yours or a hotel's, an Airbnb's, a Pinterest account's. Beyit detects every piece of furniture, gives it back its name, and finds it at four prices. It is the tool everything started with, and the only one you really need to know.

What you give

An image. Any image: a photo taken in a living room, an Instagram or Pinterest screenshot, a magazine page shot at an angle. No need to frame a single object. The scan reads the whole room and isolates every piece it finds there.

What comes back

For each piece detected, a name: brand, model, designer when there is one. Then four price tiers. The original, from the publisher. The vintage, when a period example is around. The affordable, a close piece at a mid price. And the dupe, the open copy. Every line goes straight to the shop: Beyit sells nothing, it finds.

What it asks of you

Nothing before the result. The first two pieces are fully open. To see the alternatives for the next ones and keep the scan, you need an email address. After that, a free account lets you find your scans on all your devices, keep favourites and get an alert when a piece's price drops. First drop, one email. Nothing else.

What it does not do

It does not guess what it cannot see: a piece cut off by the edge of the photo, a ten-pixel object, a sofa under three throws. And it does not guarantee the identification of an anonymous piece. When it hesitates, it says so, and shows what looks alike rather than inventing a name.

What it costs

Nothing. The scan has been free and unlimited since June 2026, with no bank card. That is a decision, not a promotion.

Got a photo to hand? Scan it, it takes a few seconds.
