Kave Home: Mediterranean Design at a Fair Price
From a family workshop in Girona to an omnipresent brand: in-house studio, FSC wood, direct prices. Why Kave Home became the middle ground.
1 MIN · 5 August 2026The Blok sofa, the Norlen sideboard, tables on a central pedestal: even without knowing the name, you have already crossed paths with Kave Home. In a few years the Catalan brand has become the middle ground between the Swedish giant and the pricey editors.
From family workshop to brand
Behind Kave Home is a family business from the Girona region, founded in the early 1980s as a furniture maker and distributor, long known as LaForma. In 2017 the family turned the catalogue into a brand: a unified identity, an in-house design studio, direct sales and showrooms across Europe.
The formula
A Mediterranean design — pale woods, soft curves, natural fibres, washed linen — drawn in-house and produced at volume. The result: pieces that hold the eye at mid-range prices, and collections that follow the trends without aping them.
What we watch at Beyit
The FSC-certified woods on part of the catalogue, and the pieces that come up most in the scans: the Norlen sideboard in walnut veneer, the round tables on a central pedestal, the sofas in bouclé fabric. When the vintage original goes over budget, it is often the serious alternative.
