The Room Designer, explained: your room, refurnished and priced
A photo of your room, your taste, your budget. What the Room Designer gives back, how fast, and why it is free.
1 MIN · 5 OBJECTS IDENTIFIEDA photo of your living room as it is, with the sofa that does not work and the empty wall. A style, a budget. A few minutes later, the same room, furnished, with the total price and a link for every piece. That is the Room Designer, and since 5 October it is free, with no subscription.
The three steps
Your photo first, taken with your phone, without tidying. Then your style and your budget, from €500, and the type of room. Finally the render: your room, furnished and priced. If you have no photo to hand, a sample room lets you try the tool.
What you get
A before/after to slide across the same image. A front view right away, then left and right views about a minute later. A named concept, a palette, a wall colour. And the list: every piece in the room with a link to the shop, and for each one alternatives, vintage, cheaper, elsewhere. At the top, the total: your room, furnished for so much.
What it asks of you
An email address just before the result, to send it to you. The first render is free without an account. To edit the room, swap a piece or see it from other angles, you need an account, also free.
Why it is free
Because the tools that sell furniture are free, and the ones that charge a subscription only sell pictures. The Room Designer was paid for five days, from 1 to 5 October. We made a call. It lives on clicks to the shops, not on your card.
