Marketplace · shipping and returns

The parcel leaves the workshop, and can go back.

Lead times, shipping fees, fourteen days to change your mind, a damaged piece: what to do, in the order the question comes up.

  1. 01 · Who ships

Each workshop ships the pieces it sells. Beyit stores nothing and repacks nothing: the parcel leaves the workshop, in its name, with its invoice.

  2. 02 · Lead times

The lead time is written on the piece's page, before purchase. A piece in stock leaves within a few days; a made-to-order piece carries its making time. The confirmation email repeats that lead time, and the workshop enters the tracking when it ships.

  3. 03 · Shipping fees

Set by the workshop, shown on the page and in the cart before payment. They are charged once per workshop: two pieces from the same workshop pay one fee. Where collection in person is possible, the page says so.

  4. 04 · On delivery

Open the parcel in front of the courier when you can. Furniture damaged in transit needs precise reservations on the delivery note — "corner crushed, leg split", never "subject to unpacking" — and a photo taken on the spot. Without that, the carrier almost always refuses the claim.

  5. 05 · Changing your mind: fourteen days

You have fourteen days after delivery to send a piece back, with no reason to give. Write to hello@beyitworld.com with your order number, or copy the form below; we put the workshop in copy. The piece goes back within fourteen days of that notice, in its original packaging and in resaleable condition. Return shipping is at your expense, unless the workshop agrees otherwise. The refund leaves no later than fourteen days after the workshop gets the piece back.

  6. 06 · What is not taken back

Pieces made to order or personalised at your request — dimensions, fabric, finish chosen by you — are excluded from the right of withdrawal by law. It is written on the page before purchase, never discovered afterwards.

  7. 07 · A damaged or non-conforming piece

This is not a return, it is a guarantee: the legal guarantee of conformity runs for two years and does not depend on any fourteen-day period. Send photos to the workshop and to hello@beyitworld.com. Repair, replacement or refund — the selling workshop takes it on.
