What you buy, and from whom.

The piece is sold by the workshop, not by Beyit. Beyit runs the marketplace, collects the price on the workshop's behalf and passes it on: at no point do we own the piece. The site is published by Beyit, sole trader Margaux Adda — hello@beyitworld.com. The selling workshop is identified on its page and on the order confirmation.

The cart shows the price of each piece and the shipping fees before payment. The order is firm on payment, and confirmed by an email listing the pieces, the amount paid, the workshop and the announced lead time. Prices are re-read from our database at payment: the price on the piece's page is the one that counts, never a price kept in a browser.

Prices in euros, all taxes included for a consumer buyer. Shipping is set by the workshop, shown on the piece's page, and charged once per workshop: two pieces from the same workshop pay one shipping fee. VAT and invoicing are the selling workshop's responsibility, according to its own tax status.

Payment goes through Stripe. Neither Beyit nor the workshop sees your card number. The amount is charged at the time of the order. If payment fails, or if the last piece sells in the meantime, no order is created and nothing is charged.

The workshop ships the piece itself, within the lead time announced on the page — a making time for a made-to-order piece. Some pieces can be collected at the workshop, which is stated on the page. Until handover, the piece remains the shipping workshop's responsibility.

A workshop that cannot meet its lead time must tell us. An order it cancels is refunded in full, shipping included.

A consumer buyer has fourteen days from delivery to change their mind, with no reason to give. Statutory exception: pieces made to order or personalised at your request are not taken back — this is stated on the page before purchase. The procedure, and the model form, are on the Shipping and returns page.

You have the legal guarantee of conformity (two years) and the guarantee against hidden defects. They are owed by the selling workshop, and do not depend on any withdrawal period. A handmade piece carries irregularities of material and finish: those are not defects of conformity.

Write to the workshop, copying hello@beyitworld.com. Beyit is not a party to the sale, but passes on the information it holds and may suspend payout to the workshop until the situation is settled.

Beyit passes to the workshop what it needs in order to ship: name, delivery address, email address. Nothing else. The detail is in the privacy policy.

These terms are governed by French law. An amicable solution is sought first, by email to hello@beyitworld.com. A consumer buyer may then use a consumer mediator free of charge: economie.gouv.fr/mediation-conso. Failing agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction.

These terms carry a date. The version in force on the day of the order is the one that applies to that order, whatever happens afterwards.
